The Apex Code launched in December 2025 to multiple 5-star rated reviews. To celebrate, and to say thank you to my fantastic readers and supporters in the US, I’m giving away 5 free signed copies.

Anyone can enter, and even if you have already purchased a copy (thank you again!) why not enter anyway. If you are one of our lucky winners, you can dedicate your free copy to a friend as an awesome gift!

How to Enter

There are two free ways to enter. Both count equally, so use whichever is easier for you.

  • Email me through the contact form on this site and ask to be entered.

One entry per person. No purchase necessary.

  • Giveaway opens: Wednesday, October 21, 2026
  • Entries close: Wednesday, November 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET
  • Winners drawn: Monday, November 30, 2026
  • Winners notified by email within seven days of the close

Winners will be asked to confirm a US mailing address and any dedication they would like in their copy.

1. Sponsor

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible.

3. Entry Period

Begins Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 12:00 AM ET and ends Wednesday, November 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

4. How to Enter

Subscribe to the newsletter at chrischiaauthor.com, or email the Sponsor through the contact form on this website and ask to be entered. Limit one entry per person. No purchase or payment of any kind is required.

5. Winner Selection and Odds

Five winners will be selected at random from all eligible US entries received during the Entry Period, using random.org’s List Randomizer. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. Prizes

Five winners will each receive one signed paperback copy of The Apex Code, with an optional personal dedication (approximate retail value $20.99 each, $104.95 total). Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

7. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified by email within seven days after the Entry Period ends and must respond within seven days to claim their prize. Otherwise an alternate winner may be selected.

8. Data

Entrants who subscribe to the newsletter can unsubscribe at any time without affecting a prize already won. Email addresses are used only to run the giveaway and to send the newsletter.

9. General Conditions

By entering, participants agree to these Official Rules. The Sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failure or any factor beyond its control impairs the integrity of the promotion. There is an option to add a note when you are ready to checkout. Fill this out with your dedication request just before you place your order!

When is The Axion Code coming out?

Later this year — sign up for the newsletter to be the first to know the release date.

Is The Axion Code a sequel, or can I read it standalone?

It's the second book in the series — while it can be read on its own, The Apex Code sets up the characters and world that carry through.
